How Kanboard works
Kanboard represents each project as a board whose columns describe workflow states. Tasks move between those columns and can carry assignees, categories, tags, due dates, priorities, subtasks, comments, descriptions, links, and attachments. Swimlanes separate parallel streams without forcing teams to create another project.
Automatic actions react to events such as task creation, movement, assignment, or due-date changes. The JSON-RPC API exposes projects, boards, tasks, users, tags, files, and related entities for external tools. The catalogue package preserves application data and plugin directories but does not include a PostgreSQL or MariaDB container.
